So here are MY most anticipated movies of 2009... and they're a little bit different. These are films are urge you all to go and see even if they're not typical blockbusters.
1. In the Loop
Hilarious-looking, smart comedy from the makers of the award-winning The Thick of It. I don't like political satire, but this government-set comedy is all about universal themes such as bullying. Just watch the trailer!
2. Up
Pixar are seemingly unstoppable. Ratatouille and WALL-E were both, in my opinion, modern masterpieces and their new offering looks just as good. It's about an old fella that attaches balloons to his house in order to escape it all, but doesn't realise the boy scout clinging to his porch.
3. Where the Wild Things Are
Based on the book, Spike Jones' new film should have come out in October but caused children to cry at the test screenings. While it angers me that they've had to change the film (my favourite films as a kid were the ones which made me cry or scared) I still believe this will be fantastic. The trailer almost brought a tear to my eye. Plus: minimal CGI which is always a good thing.
4. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
I actually think this may be coming out next year but it oh well. Directed by Edgar Wright, this could be the comedy of whatever year it chooses to come out in. Based on my favourite series of graphic novels, it mixes typical romantic comedy stuff with anime-inspired battles and physic powers. Loads of game references too!
5. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
Now this little baby won't be out until 2011 but I literally cannot contain my fluids in anticipation.

Bruno
I forgot about those three... and there are more but these are the movies are keep checking up updated about.
